Written in the Wind Single Mono-Print with diamond dusted text. Published 2021 as a Bit coin product by Faine Contemporary Art
I intended for this image initially to be my first forey into the bitcoin market but as I discovered more about the nature of Non-Fungible Tokens and that tthey are infact not a true asset class, I realised that my level of naivete about them made me think that they might not be such a good idea. Each Zodiac sign on this print have been drawn by the artist using Adobe Illustrator as have all the Arial regular texts. Each house of the Zodiac contains an A to Z of famous painters, sculptors, musicians, philosophers, writers, poets and thespians who were born between the dates of the house sign. The colours of the backgrounds and signs are variations of those usually associated with the house. The central concentric circles of names are screen printed and finished with applied diamond dust. |
