When shooting craps throwing a double one, known as Snake Eyes is the worst possible outcome when players are betting on the result of rolling two dice. The proliferation of a peculiar type of jargon used in newspapaer articles and political briefings especially about members of parliament provided the basic text for this print. Phrases like Astro Turfing, Dog Whistling and Throwing a Dead Cat on the Table supplied the basis of an A to Z text that could be used as a primer for spin doctor speak. The spirals of dice are an iconic reflection of the elemnt of chance involved in catchin the Corona Virus, and Snake Eyes a metaphore for the tragic result for thousands of people who failed to survive the condition. The raibow colour scheme is evocative of the unstinting work of the NHS staff and could be seen as an homage to the dedication of the medical profession, in complete contrast to the greed and avarice of those who so effectively defrauded the taxpayer by over charging for PPE and hiding the excess profits overseas through hedgefunds. |
